Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, emotional well-being, and readiness for treatment.

• Create and implement unique, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual needs and personal goals of adolescents and young adults.

• Facilitate various therapy formats, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, to effectively address complex mental health issues.

• Monitor clients’ progress continuously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their development and any emerging needs.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention and support during critical situations, prioritizing clients’ safety and well-being.
\n
• Maintain meticulous, confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards prevalent in mental health practice.

• Collaborate effectively with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.

• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in mental health treatment to integrate new techniques and interventions into practice.

• Engage in regular supervision, team meetings, and training sessions to continually refine clinical skills and enhance service delivery.

• Comply with all ethical guidelines and standards as defined by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on providing support and therapy to adolescents and young adults who may be experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. The therapist's approach is centered on understanding the unique experiences and backgrounds of these clients, which allows for meaningful connections and impactful therapeutic engagement.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in relevant disciplines such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• A deep sense of compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude when engaging with clients is vital.
\n
• Demonstrated organizational skills and effective time management are important to handle a diverse caseload.
\n
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional licensing board is expected.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working with adolescents and young adults in a clinical or counseling setting is highly valued.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is advantageous.

• Experience in crisis intervention and stabilization techniques will be considered a plus.
