Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to determine patients' unique needs and craft individualized treatment plans that respect their backgrounds.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to address specific mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at strengthening patients' mental health and resilience through informed discussions and therapeutic exercises.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to deliver an integrated approach to patient care, ensuring a seamless experience for those we serve.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong crisis management skills to ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources tailored to their needs.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competence training that enriches the therapeutic process.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health therapy, especially regarding culturally responsive care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, with a focus on cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy that is inclusive and culturally responsive.

• Proven crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure during challenging situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications essential for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
