Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial intake assessments to evaluate client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Administering a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to assist clients facing various mental health challenges.

• Documenting session details meticulously to maintain comprehensive records that ensure continuity of care.

• Engaging in regular consultation with peers to refine therapeutic strategies and share best practices.

• Managing ongoing treatment through progress evaluations and adjustments to therapy based on client feedback and outcomes.

• Maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines, including ethical standards set forth by licensing boards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on working with students dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. You will be called upon to offer guidance and strategies that empower them to manage their mental health effectively while navigating academic and personal pressures.

Qualifications\n

We seek candidates who possess:

• A Master’s level degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from a regionally accredited university.

• An active, unrestricted license to practice in Texas as a counselor (LPC), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), or clinical social worker (LCSW).

• A clean disciplinary record, free from any sanctions or actions taken against your license.
\n
• Proficient writing skills for comprehensive and clear documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and client progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
