Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories, determine treatment needs, and identify suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, build effective coping strategies, and achieve therapeutic goals.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention support and guidance in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license, such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, in the state of New Jersey is necessary.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in therapeutic settings is preferred, particularly in working with trauma populations.

• Strong proficiency in trauma-related disorders and a robust understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapies and effective therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective patient documentation and management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
