Work Environment

This role is entirely onsite, as our Physical Therapists work directly within patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in a home care setting to determine their physical therapy needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic methods such as exercises, stretching exercises, hands-on techniques, and appropriate equipment to help alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving patient-specific therapeutic goals, adjusting plans as progress is monitored.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously, tracking patient responses and progress to inform ongoing care strategies.
• Regularly reevaluate patient conditions to redefine therapeutic goals and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide guidance and training to patients, families, and caregivers on the use of assistive devices and effective physical therapy techniques to enhance recovery.
• Stay updated with industry practices through professional development activities, including attending workshops and engaging in professional networks or societies.

Our Physical Therapists cater to a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and elderly individuals facing various health challenges. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
• Competency in word processing and basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to evolving patient needs.
• Though prior work experience is preferred, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy is desired, new graduates with relevant internships or clinical experience will also be considered. Experience in home health care or rehabilitation settings is a plus, as it will enhance the understanding of patient-centered care in a home environment.

Compensation and Benefits
