Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories, strengths, and treatment needs effectively.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize recovery from trauma and promote resilience among clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate supportive group therapy sessions, providing clients with a safe space to share their experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster community.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and ensure comprehensive treatment of patients.

• Offer crisis intervention support, particularly during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients navigate acute distress.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and therapeutic approaches, equipping them with the tools they need for effective coping.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment processes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with the effects of trauma, including complex trauma reactions and disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health setting.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Proven proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and therapies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
