Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Provide trauma-informed counseling services tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Integrate Christian principles into therapy sessions where applicable, ensuring that clients seeking a faith-based approach receive the support they desire.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and client goals.
\n
• Offer counseling services to clients referred from local churches, fostering a strong connection with the community.

• Actively participate in community outreach initiatives to expand your caseload and enhance referral networks.

• Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers and clinical counselors, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Maintain accurate client records and document progress notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in a timely manner.

• Communicate effectively and openly with the center director regarding scheduling, availability, and client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients from the Wenatchee community, including individuals facing various mental health challenges, couples navigating relationship issues, and families seeking support during difficult times. Your trauma-informed approach will be crucial in building trust and facilitating healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
\n
• Strong knowledge of the Bible and Biblical counseling techniques.
\n
• An independent license to practice in Washington, D.C. or within 200 hours of completing residency.
\n
• Dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland is preferred but not required.
\n
• Training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or a commitment to complete EMDR basic training within three months of hire.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with clients.
\n
• The ability to work effectively with diverse populations and age groups while maintaining a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.

• A strong commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines within the counseling field.

Preferred Experience\n
