This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. Our therapists utilize telehealth technology to connect with clients, enabling you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while adhering to a structured schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of new clients to analyze the severity and duration of their mood-related symptoms, incorporating standardized evaluation tools as appropriate.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the specific dynamics of mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, emphasizing treatment options, coping mechanisms, and self-care practices that enhance recovery.

• Monitor client progress systematically, utilizing progress notes and outcome assessments to make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

• Engage in teamwork with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients, participating in regular interdisciplinary meetings.

• Remain informed on the latest research and developments within the field to continually refine and enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and outcomes, complying with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions aimed at collective skill enhancement and adherence to best practices in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Act as an advocate for clients, fostering understanding and reducing stigma around mental health issues through community outreach and education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals facing mood disorders, which may manifest as complex emotional and behavioral challenges. You will work with a diverse population, including people of different ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses, ensuring that everyone receives tailored care that respects their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, especially focused on mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong capability to communicate effectively, demonstrating sensitivity and understanding towards clients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
