Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including educators and mental health professionals, to coordinate care and promote mental health awareness within the school community.

• Maintain thorough and accurate client records, documenting treatment progress and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with students from diverse backgrounds, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and learning challenges. Our school-based model emphasizes the importance of early intervention and support, aiming to improve students' emotional resilience and academic performance.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of New York.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience as a social worker, preferably in a school setting or with youth populations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and their families.

• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and engage effectively with a diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Help Wellness Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
