Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct therapeutic services to clients both in individual and group settings, employing evidence-based interventions tailored to their developmental needs.

• Develop and implement client-centered care plans that promote access to integrated services, ensuring collaboration with family members and other healthcare providers.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs, addressing symptoms of significant mental illness and emotional problems, and facilitating referrals for more comprehensive evaluations when necessary.

• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute towards shared objectives, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing overall team performance.

• Identify and mitigate potentially harmful situations, ensuring compliance with organizational safety standards and protocols.

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client progress and interventions, adhering to ethical standards and the policies set forth by The Mind Wellness Center.

• Assist in crisis intervention efforts and support emergency situations within and outside office hours, as part of the on-call duty roster.

• Engage in continuous professional development through collaboration with peers, training sessions, and participation in committees aimed at enhancing service quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves diverse client populations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, many of whom may face barriers such as poverty or lack of access to quality mental health services. The mental health challenges these clients experience can range from anxiety and depression to more severe psychiatric disorders. As such, you will employ culturally competent care to address the unique needs of each client, ensuring that they feel understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably within community-based or underserved environments.

• Knowledge of mental health treatment modalities, assessment techniques, and crisis intervention strategies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
