Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in Freehold, NJ. This facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment and resources to support both practitioners and patients. As a team member, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary approach to ensure holistic patient care. You will enjoy a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while choosing your own hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients who are in need of physical rehabilitation due to injury, surgery, or chronic illness.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' progress, ensuring alignment with their therapeutic goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise prescriptions, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance patient mobility.
• Document all therapeutic interventions and patient responses meticulously to track progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on treatment plans, self-care techniques, and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Stay current on best practices and trends in physical therapy by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and pursuing continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes adults and children with various physical challenges, from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. You will be instrumental in providing support and rehabilitation to individuals facing diverse conditions, ensuring that they receive tailored care that meets their unique needs and promotes their maximum potential for recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on interpersonal relationships.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation skills.
• A dedicated approach to continuing education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
