Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while leveraging our telehealth platform to reach and support children and families effectively. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to accurately evaluate their psychological needs.

• Design, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans that incorporate best practices and adapt to developmental stages.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including individual therapy, group therapy, and family sessions targeting the unique challenges faced by young individuals.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in fostering a supportive home environment.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists, educational professionals, and other allied health staff to ensure a cohesive approach to care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young patients.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health diagnoses, treatment plans, and available community resources to enhance support networks.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights, strategies, and ongoing professional development.

• Stay updated on advancements in child and adolescent mental health treatment modalities through ongoing education and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents grappling with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will play a significant role in their emotional and psychological development, helping them navigate the complexities of their mental health journeys. By integrating treatment plans with educational support and family dynamics, you will contribute decisively to their overall growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• Thorough understanding of childhood and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and family dynamics.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy with a focus on younger clientele.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team aimed at achieving the best outcomes for our patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct mental health counseling experience, particularly in a pediatric or adolescent setting.

• Previous involvement in telehealth services or digital mental health support platforms is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
