Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and mental health evaluations, documenting cases from the first consultation through to the completion of treatment.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and engaging group therapy programs that encourage open dialogue and peer support.

• Monitor client progress continuously, adapting treatment strategies to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to formulate comprehensive intervention plans.

• Provide follow-up support for clients transitioning from inpatient care, ensuring a seamless continuity of care.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery, intervening proactively to promote positive behavioral changes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working with a diverse population of clients who are navigating a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction disorders, and other emotional challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in creating a safe and trusting environment, fostering client resilience and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A passing score from the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, essential for building rapport with clients and colleagues.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate and timely documentation.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices to ensure adherence to industry standards.
