This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to bring specialized mental health support to our patients from the comfort of your own environment. Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, which provides flexibility and accessibility to deliver therapeutic services. However, it may require occasional visits to our outpatient office in Santa Ana for team meetings or training sessions. Our work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some evening shifts as needed to accommodate patients' schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the complexities of aging, ensuring a holistic understanding of the patient's situation and history.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans that take into account cognitive abilities, physical health, and social dynamics affecting the patient's well-being.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including both individual and family therapy, to effectively address the spectrum of geriatric psychiatric disorders.

• Collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to foster integrated care, sharing insights and contributing to case discussions.

• Assist in crisis intervention scenarios, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies while ensuring patient and family safety.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, helping them understand treatment options and connecting them with community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Actively engage in professional development, participating in team meetings, case reviews, and staying abreast of new practices in geriatric mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is primarily on the geriatric population experiencing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, dementia-related disorders, and adjustment difficulties. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the complexities associated with aging and be prepared to support elderly patients through a compassionate and informed therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT, enabling you to practice independently.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.

• Strong comprehension of geriatric mental health issues and familiarity with evidence-based practices.

• Demonstrated skill in delivering effective individual and family therapy tailored for older adults.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building trusting relationships with patients and their families.

• Capability in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
