Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Green Oak Wellness, you will:

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing therapeutic support tailored to the unique challenges faced by each client.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure an integrated approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies for optimal treatment outcomes.

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding therapy processes, progress, and any adjustments needed in treatment approaches.

• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in mental health counseling to enhance your effectiveness as a therapist.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Green Oak Wellness, you will work with a diverse population of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults, experiencing a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania. A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is also a prerequisite.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in the mental health counseling field. Experience working with insurance credentialing is beneficial; however, we are willing to assist with this process for qualified candidates. A history of providing therapy in outpatient settings will be viewed favorably, alongside a strong ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
