Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, developing professional relationships built on trust while adhering to the highest ethical standards.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss treatment stability, and plan for discharge when appropriate.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that prioritize the unique needs and goals of each client.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in alignment with organizational policies and best practices, including detailed progress notes and treatment updates.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working with a diverse outpatient population that may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various other mental health challenges. Providing direct psychotherapy services to clients and their families, you will contribute to fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment that encourages healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
\n
• A minimum of one year of experience providing clinical services in an outpatient setting post-graduation.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing computer systems, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for scheduling and documentation.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience offering direct psychotherapy services to diverse age groups, with a focus on individual and family counseling.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a strong desire to continue professional development in the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
