This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client's challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and lifestyle, ensuring a patient-centered approach to recovery.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide continuous education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote well-being.

• Regularly monitor and assess client progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plan based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care, ensuring all aspects of a client's mental health are addressed.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic efficacy.

• Maintain clear and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in professional development opportunities, including case consultations and team meetings, to refine clinical skills and maintain high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse patient population facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT valid in New York State is essential for eligibility.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly in CBT and DBT, with a focus on mood disorder interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
