Pain Management Physician Assistant - Full-Time

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our hospital facility in Scarsdale, New York, where our state-of-the-art healthcare environment supports patient-centered practices. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, gathering detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations to evaluate the condition of patients.
• Collaboratively develop, implement, and assess individualized treatment plans with the supervising physician to best address each patient's condition.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists and clinical psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies, utilizing your clinical expertise to assist in pain management.
• Perform a variety of pain management procedures, including joint injections and nerve blocks, as credentialed, contributing directly to alleviating patient pain.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Utilize our electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance and enhancing the continuity of care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs to remain informed about the latest practices and innovations in pain management.

Qualifications

• A current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in New York State.

Preferred Experience

We require a minimum of two years of experience in pain management or a related field, ideally within a clinical setting where you have gained hands-on knowledge of various pain management strategies and techniques. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to this attractive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
