Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate pain levels and functional abilities, utilizing advanced clinical techniques.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to diagnose illnesses and formulate individualized treatment plans that optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform a range of procedures, including injections, nerve blocks, and assist in surgical interventions when necessary.
• Provide ongoing follow-up care to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to ensure effective pain management.
• Educate patients and their families on ongoing management of pain conditions, treatment methodologies, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain clear and accurate medical records using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily care for patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to neuropathic pain, arthritis, and post-surgical pain. Engaging with a diverse patient population requires sensitivity to the varying backgrounds and healthcare needs of individuals. You will play a pivotal role in guiding patients through their treatment journeys, fostering hope and improvement in their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A completed Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current, active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally encompassing multiple medical specialties.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment procedures.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management or a related specialty is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, reflective of experience and expertise, along with performance-based bonuses.
