Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve a range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing patient recovery and functional independence:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, analyzing examination findings to determine the extent of physical dysfunction stemming from various medical issues, injuries, or health-related conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with healthcare goals, considering each patient's age, medical history, and unique physical challenges.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, following regulatory, licensing, and payer requirements to maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors about patient advancements or potential complications, fostering a collaborative care approach.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercises and rehabilitation strategies to ensure continuity of care outside the clinic.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and equipment, adhering to best practices within a rehabilitation setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise in sports rehabilitation and evidence-based therapeutic techniques will allow you to effectively assist individuals looking to regain full mobility and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Active California State licensure to practice physical therapy.
• Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• At least two years of relevant work experience, preferably in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices and the ability to design appropriate exercise programs for a wide range of physical abilities and comorbidities.

Compensation and Benefits
