Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients' trauma backgrounds and determining suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Create individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their experiences.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, equipping patients with effective coping strategies and facilitating a supportive environment for open dialogue.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated, holistic care tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Engage in crisis intervention efforts, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus centers on individuals navigating the aftereffects of trauma, which may manifest as PTSD, complex trauma responses, or dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents who have experienced various traumatic events. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
