Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and families to develop personalized treatment approaches.

• Provide both individual and family therapy tailored to each patient's unique needs, using evidence-based interventions.

• Manage thorough documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms ensuring timely completion.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support ongoing stability for patients.

• Create and implement effective discharge plans, facilitating smooth transitions for patients moving out of intensive care protocols.
\n
• Adhere consistently to current federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies to maintain compliance.

• Engage in continuous professional development through mandatory training, staying abreast of the latest practices in mental health care.

• Participate actively in case consultation and agency meetings, contributing insights and collaborating on complex cases with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Long Valley, you will primarily engage with diverse adult and adolescent clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your empathetic approach and ability to provide culturally relevant support will greatly influence their journey towards recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensing.

• Valid licensure as a mental health therapist in the State of Washington, such as Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
