Work Environment

You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical screenings and evaluations based on physician referrals to assess patients' needs for physical therapy services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that integrate each patient's unique goals and medical history, ensuring that all rehabilitation protocols are adhered to.
• Execute treatment plans through hands-on therapy techniques, patient education, and supervision of physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides.
• Continue your professional development by engaging in ongoing education and training, contributing to new therapeutic techniques that benefit our clients.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain detailed, accurate patient records and billing information, ensuring compliance with facility guidelines.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
• Conduct training sessions and in-service education for staff members to enhance team knowledge and skills in patient care.
• Remain informed about the latest policies and procedures from the facility's manual and ensure compliance in all practice areas.
• Supervise non-professional staff as necessary to maintain an efficient treatment environment, in alignment with state laws and practice standards.
• Take responsibility for the complete lifecycle of patient care, from initial screening and evaluation through to ongoing treatment and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapy services cater to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with patients of various ages and backgrounds, developing comprehensive treatment strategies that promote recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current Florida State License to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Active Florida Driver's License, registration, and auto insurance.
• Current certification in CPR, along with required physical health checks including PPD.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in patient evaluations and developing treatment plans tailored to varying needs.
• Prior experience in supervising rehabilitation staff, including aides and assistants, is a plus.

• Annual salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
