Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with clients via secure telehealth platforms, fostering a safe and supportive virtual environment for emotional exploration and healing.

• Assess clients’ mental health needs through comprehensive evaluations, crafting personalized treatment plans that align with their unique circumstances and goals.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Provide clients with practical coping strategies, emotional support, and guidance on navigating their mental health challenges, encouraging resilience and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous electronic documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and communications, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse clientele, ranging from children to adults, each presenting various mental health concerns. You will be equipped to address specific challenges related to developmental stages, co-occurring disorders, and traumatic experiences, all while fostering an inclusive environment that respects and values client differences. Your understanding of different life phases and sensitivity towards unique client backgrounds will be crucial in tailoring your interventions effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience providing mental health counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults within various contexts.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering remote counseling services and familiarity with developmental theories pertaining to children, adolescents, and adults.

• Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based counseling techniques and crisis intervention practices.

• Experience engaging with a diverse patient population, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity to varying backgrounds and experiences.

• Additional certifications or licenses, although not required, in areas such as DBT, Trauma-Informed Care, or Military and Trauma Certification, will be viewed favorably.
