Position Overview

Move One Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our passionate team at our Sanford, Florida rehabilitation facility. Work Environment

As a member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will thrive in an onsite facility designed to foster healing and recovery. You will work alongside other healthcare professionals who value teamwork, open communication, and a patient-centered approach. Scheduled hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Physical Therapist will encompass a variety of essential responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to identify needs and establish individualized treatment plans that reflect the patients' goals.
• Implementing a wide range of therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices suited to each patient's unique situation.
• Educating patients and their families about treatment protocols, progression expectations, and self-management techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment modifications, and other key metrics in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Actively participating in team meetings and case discussions to collaboratively address complex patient care issues.
• Exhibiting superior customer service by promptly addressing patient concerns and ensuring they feel valued and understood.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain. You will work with diverse clients, from athletes aiming for peak performance to seniors seeking to improve mobility and quality of life. Your interventions will directly contribute to enhancing their physical capabilities and overall health, enabling them to regain independence.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent).
• A current and valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification upon hire.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Exceptional analytical and prioritization abilities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members.
• Basic computer literacy to manage electronic medical records and documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome recent graduates, candidates with at least two years of experience in a rehabilitation setting will be given preference. Previous exposure to clinical practice within interdisciplinary teams and familiarity with outpatient therapy protocols will be advantageous.
