Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in work location. However, you will be aligned closely with a team based at our Chanute, Kansas facility to facilitate seamless communication and collaborative care. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and on-call responsibilities as needed to support student mental health emergencies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for students with diverse special needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their individual challenges and strengths.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that prioritize emotional well-being, providing targeted interventions and continuous support to help students thrive in an educational setting.

• Engage in evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to specific diagnoses, including ASD, ADHD, trauma, and other emotional and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing students' personal growth, emotional regulation, and coping skills.

• Collaborate effectively with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other health professionals to promote holistic care and coordination of services.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, equipping students with essential coping mechanisms during challenging moments.
\n
• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, promoting awareness and accessible resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Ensure meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and assessments adheres to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities to continually enhance service delivery.

• Stay informed about and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in mental health and social work.

Qualifications\n

• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous, along with general computer proficiency to support documentation and reporting activities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
