Work Environment

This role is predominantly remote, allowing you to provide essential support to our clients from the comfort of your own space. While the primary hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, there may be occasional evening or weekend hours on a rotating basis to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate symptoms of mood disorders, determining their severity, frequency, and duration through a combination of interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on tailored strategies that align with their personal goals and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care techniques to empower them through their journey.
• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving needs and responses to therapy.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to integrate treatment plans, ensuring a holistic approach to the client’s mental health care.
• Engage in continuous education and stay informed about the latest research and best practices in treating mood disorders to enhance therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to collaborative efforts aimed at improving client care and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Clinical Therapist at Compass Mental Health Center, you will primarily focus on a diverse clientele grappling with mood disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• A robust understanding of mood disorders and proven expertise in therapeutic interventions, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to professional development and maintaining knowledge of evolving practices within mental health.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and resources in a remote setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is preferred.
• A demonstrated record of successful treatment outcomes in previous clinical settings.
• Familiarity with data management and electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
