Work Environment

This role offers a fully remote work environment, which promotes flexibility and personal well-being. Our therapists work during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing time after hours for personal commitments and relaxation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their personal goals, preferences, and specific situations to ensure effective outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide impactful interventions that promote mental well-being.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Monitor and assess clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adapting plans as needed to respond to their evolving needs and challenges.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that each client receives comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in mood disorders, applying new findings and methodologies to enhance therapeutic interventions and client outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation for all client interactions, in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate records are available for interdisciplinary reviews.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to further hone your clinical skills and knowledge.
• Actively advocate for the destigmatization of mental health disorders, reinforcing the importance of seeking help and supporting clients in navigating their treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with mood disorders—including depression and anxiety—who are seeking to improve their mental well-being. Our client population is diverse, encompassing various age groups, backgrounds, and experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of Georgia is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, with an ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatry teams.
• Demonstrated history of successful therapeutic outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
• Excellent communication skills, with a capacity to build rapport with a wide variety of clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient clinical settings is an advantage.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual treatment methodologies is preferred.

The Compensation and Benefits
