Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand and evaluate the needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Provide a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family counseling tailored to address specific mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents, ranging from early childhood through late adolescence. Our counselors work with individuals facing diverse challenges, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and various behavioral issues. We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where young patients feel comfortable and supported as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• An accredited Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• Demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and foster relationships with children, adolescents, and their families based on trust and empathy.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology to facilitate efficient documentation and patient care processes.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team, contributing ideas and resources to enhance patient care delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Experience working in a community health setting or with a diverse client population.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Core Mind Mental and Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting the expertise and skills of our mental health professionals.
