Work Environment

This role is based onsite at an assisted living facility in Flushing, New York, where you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The typical work schedule ranges from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional extensions to 8:00 p.m. for evening clinics. You may also engage in community outreach events and health fairs on weekends, making your contributions not just impactful within the clinic, but also across the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings, utilizing your clinical expertise to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health comprehensively.
• Diagnose acute illnesses and manage chronic conditions through evidence-based treatments and personalized care plans that incorporate preventive health measures.
• Collaborate with community organizations to design and implement health education programs, ensuring that services meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population.
• Provide culturally sensitive care, advocating for patients' access to healthcare and their rights to receive appropriate services.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $200,000 per year, aligned with your experience and qualifications.
