Work Environment

As a Nurse Practitioner at our hospital facility, you will work onsite in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment. Our facility is equipped with modern medical technology and resources, creating a conducive atmosphere for delivering exceptional patient care. Your typical work schedule will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics extending until 8:00 p.m. Additionally, your involvement in weekend outreach events and health fairs will be vital to our community engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings to identify the medical and psychosocial needs of patients across various demographics.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions, emphasizing preventive care and health promotion through regular patient check-ups.
• Develop and implement health education programs in collaboration with community organizations to enhance public understanding of mental health and wellness.
• Ensure culturally sensitive care by actively listening to patient concerns, advocating for their rights, and addressing barriers to healthcare access.
• Coordinate necessary referrals and follow-up care to provide a seamless healthcare experience, ensuring continuity for all patients.
• Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, reflecting patient interactions and treatment plans while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• A current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active New York state nursing license.
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing; preferably, a Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with a strong preference for those with backgrounds in community health or public health.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 180,000 to 200,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
