Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address client issues.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices that enhance recovery.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on feedback and ongoing assessments.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and cohesive care plans.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to ensure clients receive the highest quality of care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client information is protected.

• Participate actively in case consultations, training sessions, and team meetings to share insights and enhance collaborative practice.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and support clients in navigating systemic barriers to ensure they receive comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Euphoria Edge Health Clinic, you will be primarily working with clients facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will engage with diverse populations, including underrepresented groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your work will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes and promoting their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
