Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through virtual appointments to identify patient needs and tailor personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to support individuals, couples, and families.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups digitally, fostering a sense of community among participants.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, enhancing treatment effectiveness.
• Provide crucial crisis intervention services when needed, demonstrating sound judgment and immediate responsiveness.
• Educate patients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take charge of their wellness journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and refine treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Virginia is mandatory to practice in our state.
• A strong understanding of a range of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment options, and diverse therapeutic approaches is essential.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct comprehensive assessments and design effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience delivering therapy to various demographics, showcasing an understanding of the unique challenges faced by different populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

St. Paul Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
