Work Environment

As a Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work in a dynamic rehabilitation center located in Chantilly, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies to optimize recovery and achieve functional goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, aligning with professional standards and organizational practices.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to maximize patient outcomes.
• Meet defined utilization goals while delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working primarily with orthopedic patients, but you will also have the opportunity to treat pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Understanding the unique needs of these diverse populations ensures each patient receives tailored care. Your role will contribute directly to restoring patients' functional abilities, enhancing their quality of life, and facilitating a safe return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing and electronic medical records.
• A passion for building strong patient relationships to facilitate optimal recovery.

• Experience with evidence-based practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Previous work in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in educating patients and families, especially in guiding them through the rehabilitation process.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for the Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
