Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in a home care setting, providing care directly in patients' residences. This environment allows for personalized therapy that takes into account the unique challenges patients face in their daily lives. You will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, leveraging a multidisciplinary approach to care. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy by managing the intake, assessment, and therapeutic care of an assigned patient group.
• Conduct detailed patient assessments to develop and implement individualized care plans focused on achieving realistic and meaningful goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to change the patient's condition/function, consistent with the physician's plan of care.
• Provide evaluations and treatment interventions tailored to the specific needs of each patient, fostering ongoing engagement and motivation.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers in using therapeutic exercises and assistive devices to facilitate recovery and independent living.
• Coordinate patient care activities, prioritize caseloads, and ensure effective communication among team members to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, athletes rehabilitating injuries, and seniors working to maintain their mobility and independence. Our commitment to patient safety and satisfaction ensures that every patient receives personalized attention and support, addressing conditions that affect their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (DPT preferred).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting is preferred.
• Experience in home care or community-based settings is advantageous but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) for managing patient documentation and care plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
