Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to assist clients in addressing various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Perform crisis interventions and comprehensive risk assessments as necessary, maintaining a calm and supportive demeanor during high-pressure situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily work with adult clients dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including mood disorders, trauma, stress-related disorders, and family dynamics. Your aim will be to equip these clients with the tools and strategies needed for recovery and empowerment, fostering improvements in their emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in Maryland is mandatory.

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in an outpatient mental health setting is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be extended to candidates with specialized training or certifications in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, or other contemporary therapeutic frameworks. Experience with telehealth technologies would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging between $80,000 and $90,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
