This position operates in a fully remote setting, utilizing telehealth technologies to provide care. As a member of our therapeutic team, you will engage with clients through virtual sessions, allowing flexibility in scheduling and delivery of services. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for a comprehensive list of duties, including:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions and facilitating group therapy for children and families, utilizing video conferencing tools.
\n
• Implementing therapeutic interventions to address anger management, develop coping strategies, enhance social skills, and mitigate high-risk behaviors, such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical aggression.
\n
• Assisting families in improving their decision-making skills, specifically in managing behavioral challenges that arise in the home environment.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic support for each youth and their family.
\n
• Documenting all interactions and treatment progress through required documentation (including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes) within specified time frames.

• Participating in monthly meetings to review cases, share insights, and offer recommendations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who present various developmental and intellectual challenges. You will work closely with their caregivers, offering guidance and support to improve their overall family dynamics. Your expertise in working with diverse populations will be crucial in bridging cultural gaps and ensuring accessibility to necessary mental health resources.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this pivotal role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during critical after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM), with flexibility for weekend sessions advantageous.

• Proficient in both Spanish or Portuguese and English to effectively communicate with bilingual clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly valued:

Compensation and Benefits\n
