Complete and Wellness Mind Care P.C. is seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. In this remote, full-time position, you will play a key role in delivering therapeutic services to children with developmental disabilities and their families. We are particularly interested in candidates who are bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese to better serve our diverse community in Naperville, Illinois, and across the state.

This full-time position operates primarily in a remote setting, enabling flexibility in your work schedule. While the majority of therapy sessions will occur within our outpatient office or via telehealth, you will also conduct in-home sessions catering to the needs of families. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions in both home-based and office settings to children and families.
\n
• Develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by each child and their support network.
\n
• Implement interventions focusing on anger management, coping strategies, and social skill development to mitigate high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical aggression.
\n
• Enhance decision-making skills and behavior management techniques for both youth and caregivers to navigate in-home challenges effectively.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social workers, educators, and other mental health professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to each child’s care.
\n
• Document all therapeutic interactions comprehensively, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to required timelines.
\n
• Attend monthly staff meetings to review cases and provide input on program development and improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary clientele includes children aged 3 to 20 who are facing a variety of developmental challenges. Many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may experience additional barriers due to cultural or socioeconomic factors. Your role will focus on providing compassionate and effective therapy to assist both the children and their families in overcoming these challenges, enhancing their emotional and behavioral well-being.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Illinois.
\n
• A minimum availability of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM), with additional weekend availability preferred.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for in-home sessions.
\n
• Eligibility to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience providing positive behavior support to children and families.
\n
• Prior work history with children diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

• Established skills in working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n
