Complete and Wellness Mind Care P.C. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide remote, intensive therapeutic services. As a full-time therapist, you will work directly with children facing developmental challenges and their families, contributing to their mental wellness and developmental progress.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions either virtually or in-home, focusing on tailored approaches for individual client needs.
\n
• Facilitating group therapy sessions in our outpatient center, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for children and families.
\n
• Utilizing behavioral strategies to teach anger management, coping mechanisms, and social skills to children.
\n
• Implementing strategies to mitigate high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behaviors (SIB) or physical aggression.
\n
• Working collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
\n
• Documenting each session comprehensively, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, while adhering to designated timeframes.
\n
• Attending and contributing to monthly team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for treatment improvements.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your therapeutic focus will be primarily on children and adolescents aged 3-20, specifically those with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. This role is essential for providing targeted support to young individuals and their families, forming meaningful connections that promote growth and development within an often underserved population. You will also have the opportunity to work with bilingual families, enhancing your impact within the community.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Illinois.
\n
• A commitment to working at least 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours of 4-7 pm, with availability on weekends being a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience providing positive behavior support to children with challenging behaviors.
\n
• Prior experience working with children aged 3-20, especially those diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for possible in-home sessions.
\n
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n
• Bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese, which would be a significant asset in our diverse community.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Further benefits include:
