We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at the Healing Mind and Soul Center. This position operates in a hybrid model where therapeutic services can be delivered both in-person at our outpatient office and remotely through telehealth when appropriate. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized in-home or group therapy sessions to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
\n
• Implement evidence-based practices to help youth cope with difficulties, develop essential social skills, and manage high-risk behaviors.
\n
• Engage in dynamic collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
\n
• Document all client interactions thoroughly and promptly, including treatment plans, progress notes, and intake assessments, adhering to established timelines.
\n
• Attend monthly interdisciplinary meetings to discuss client progress and contribute recommendations that enhance service delivery and family support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus primarily on serving children and adolescents with varying developmental challenges, including those with intellectual disabilities and behavioral disorders. Understanding cultural sensitivities and being bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is highly preferred, as it enhances our ability to reach and support a diverse client population effectively. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
\n
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license is essential.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, particularly during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with some weekend flexibility desired.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle to facilitate in-home visits.
\n
• A successful background check, including fingerprinting, is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in providing positive behavior support and working specifically with children ages 3-20.

• Familiarity with strategies that address and support children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
\n
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese to assist bilingual clients is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
