Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, offering tailored, in-home treatment options to meet each family’s unique needs.

• Develop and implement treatment plans that address high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and violence, teaching essential skills such as anger management and coping strategies.
\n
• Enhance decision-making and problem-solving skills in both children and caregivers to promote more effective management of in-home behavioral challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to each child's care, participating actively in multidisciplinary meetings.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to established guidelines and timeframes.
\n
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your practice and support our clients effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children aged 3-20, focusing on those with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. This role is crucial in delivering intensive therapeutic interventions that empower children to achieve their full potential. By providing support to caregivers, you help create an environment conducive to positive growth and mutual understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in Tennessee is essential to ensure compliance with state regulations.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, ideally during the late afternoon to evening hours (4-7 PM). Weekend availability is an asset.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are necessary for travel to client homes.
\n
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, prior to employment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is highly desirable.

• Previous roles providing positive behavior support can enhance your effectiveness in this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
