Work Environment\n

This role is part of a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while still being integrated into our outpatient office operations. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as dictated by patient needs. As a member of our child and adolescent psychiatry office, you will work closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment that prioritizes continuous improvement and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of each child and adolescent client.

• Design and execute personalized treatment plans that consider developmental milestones, familial dynamics, and individual experiences, ensuring that interventions are both age-appropriate and effective.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to deliver interventions that effectively address various mental health issues, refining techniques based on ongoing assessment and feedback.

• Collaborate seamlessly with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure a unified approach to treatment, enhancing patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, maintaining a calm and responsive demeanor while implementing appropriate safety protocols.

• Educate families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources to empower them and improve engagement in the therapy process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that documentation reflects accurate treatment assessments and progress.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and learning from colleagues to continuously adapt methods and improve efficacy in therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health concerns. You will be providing critical support to this vulnerable population, recognizing the importance of creating an engaging and trusting rapport to facilitate their expression and healing. You will work with young individuals who may struggle with anxiety disorders, depressive symptoms, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral issues, contributing to their overall emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing a robust understanding of the complexities involved in treating children and adolescents.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders specific to children and adolescents, along with evidence-based treatment methodologies and therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
