Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team to tailor individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive psychosocial assessments and evidence-based interventions.

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with community resources and leaders, representing MindShift at relevant forums and committees aimed at addressing the social and mental health needs of our client population.

• Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing emotional and behavioral problems, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to their needs.

• Communicate effectively with physicians and other health care professionals to report on patient progress, needs, and any potential or actual concerns that may arise.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with our department’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at MindShift, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship challenges, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and interventions.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, assessment tools, and theories pertinent to mental health counseling.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, that facilitate clear interaction with clients and interdisciplinary team members.
