This full-time position offers a remote work setting while primarily serving clients in our Detox Center located in Elk Grove, California. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy sessions for clients, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand client needs, strengths, and challenges, subsequently developing tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that care strategies remain effective and responsive to client feedback.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress, employing appropriate techniques to stabilize their emotional and mental state.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs), and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation that adheres to legal, ethical, and clinical standards in a timely manner.

• Participate in regular case consultations and clinical team meetings to share insights and contribute to collective knowledge and strategy.

• Stay informed of the latest best practices in mental health treatment and fulfill continuing education requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW at The Beacon Institute, you will work primarily with clients who are navigating substances use disorders and other mental health challenges. We serve a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families seeking support during critical times. Our goal is to empower clients by providing the tools they need to make lasting changes in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current California LCSW license (Required).
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical or outpatient settings.

• Strong working knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and a thorough understanding of the DSM-5.
\n
• Proficient in healthcare documentation, care coordination, and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Background in working with patients undergoing detoxification and mental health rehabilitation.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000.00 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and caseload. In addition to the base salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, ensuring a secure and supportive work environment.
