As a Physical Therapist in our facility, you will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation nurses, all of whom are dedicated to providing high-quality care. The work schedule is flexible, allowing you to choose hours that best fit your lifestyle, with availability from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical limitations and needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer treatments using a range of techniques including therapeutic exercises, hands-on therapy, and advanced equipment designed for rehabilitation.
• Continuously monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures and the effective use of assistive devices, ensuring proper techniques are implemented for long-term success.
• Stay current with industry trends and practices through workshops, seminars, and ongoing education, fostering a commitment to professional excellence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication among all parties involved in patient treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and debilitating conditions. Our diverse population includes both pediatric and adult patients, each requiring tailored therapeutic interventions to help improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their overall quality of life. Your expertise and adaptability in therapy techniques will allow you to meet the specific needs of each individual effectively.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interactions with patients and team members.
• Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and treatment tracking.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining a high standard of clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy practice is preferred, we are also open to recent graduates who are enthusiastic and eager to learn. All candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their practical knowledge through patient assessments and treatment presentations.

Compensation and Benefits
