Work Environment

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite, directly engaging with patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities to develop individual treatment plans.
• Provide consultations to healthcare providers and develop coordinated care strategies that enhance the patient's recovery.
• Deliver personalized care by implementing treatment plans, continuously re-evaluating progress, and adjusting strategies to meet patient needs.
• Document all treatments and related charges accurately, adhering to legal and professional standards.
• Maintain effective communication with both patients and their families, ensuring they understand treatment plans and discharge processes.
• Participate in community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental leadership activities.
• Supervise and mentor supporting staff, ensuring they contribute effectively to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be responsible for tailoring treatments to accommodate varying cultural backgrounds and age groups, ensuring that all patients are treated with the utmost respect and care regardless of their circumstances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State License in Physical Therapy valid in New Jersey.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and other documentation software.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on experience as a physical therapist, demonstrating a track record of successful patient outcomes.
