Working from the comfort of your home yet feeling connected to a vibrant team, you will engage with colleagues from different specialties, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients. Our remote setting fosters flexibility while maintaining a strong team dynamic through regular virtual meetings and collaborative case discussions. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' unique experiences, helping to formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, reflecting an understanding of the individual's cultural and personal backgrounds to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Facilitate various therapy formats including individual, family, and group sessions to address a wide range of mental health concerns and to foster resilience among patients.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, utilizing strong communication skills to navigate mental health emergencies with poise.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment strategies, and available community resources, empowering them towards recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with clients from diverse ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant populations. The focus is on providing tailored therapeutic support that recognizes and respects cultural differences, ensuring that every client receives empathetic and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Deep knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with a diverse range of clients.

• Proficiency in working with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and client management.

• Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and the maintenance of clear professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
