Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with clients. Our virtual office promotes a collaborative culture among practitioners, allowing for continual professional support and growth. You will work a full-time schedule, typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate client needs, ensuring that your therapeutic efforts align with their availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments through teletherapy to gather insights into patients’ backgrounds and mental health histories, fulling understanding their unique challenges.

• Create tailored treatment plans based on culturally responsive frameworks that reflect individual patient needs and evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual therapy, family sessions, and group therapy meetings, ensuring that all interactions foster a safe and respectful space for sharing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to provide comprehensive care aimed at improving patient outcomes.

• Respond to mental health crises with intervention strategies that de-escalate potential emergencies and provide immediate support.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatments, and community resources, empowering them to navigate their health journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in line with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) technology.

• Engage in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development workshops, actively contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Stay updated on the latest research and clinical guidelines relevant to mental health therapy, particularly as they pertain to diverse populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals from varied backgrounds, including ethnic minorities and LGBTQ+ communities, who may face unique challenges. By bringing your cultural competence to the practice, you will help these individuals navigate their mental health needs in a supportive and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstrated understanding of a wide range of mental health disorders, along with best practices in evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly for culturally diverse populations.

• Experience in delivering therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings with a focus on inclusivity.

• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to respond effectively under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven history of building rapport and trust with diverse client groups.

• Proficient in using EHR systems and various digital tools to support telehealth services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
