Work Environment

This Full-Time position requires therapists to work onsite in patients' homes, enabling a unique patient-care experience. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, encompassing a 40-hour work week. The home care setting allows therapists to assess and adjust rehabilitation strategies based on patients' real-life environments, helping enhance recovery while ensuring comfort and convenience for every individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred to physical therapy by physicians, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each patient's current physical status and needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on enhancing functional mobility and managing pain effectively.
• Utilize a wide range of therapeutic techniques and interventions, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and patient education, to facilitate healing and promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by building rapport with patients and caregivers, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and achieve the best therapy outcomes through an interdisciplinary approach.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals and contributing actively to our team's success in achieving business objectives while maintaining a patient-centered focus.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Home Care Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse clientele, including patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurological rehabilitation, and sports medicine. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in word processing and other computer systems.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally with exposure to home health environments.
• Experience in treating diverse patient populations with varied conditions such as neurological disorders, post-operative orthopedic care, or sports-related injuries.
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain strong relationships with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits
