Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify each client’s unique challenges and support systems.
• Devise individualized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of clients, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
• Utilize talk therapy techniques to address client concerns while modeling adaptive behaviors to foster sustainable growth.
• Guide clients through their therapy journey, regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment recommendations based on individual progress and feedback.
• Educate prospective and existing clients about financial and emotional commitments involved in the therapeutic process.
• Encourage self-reflection, develop helpful coping strategies, and strengthen interpersonal relationships among clients.
• Monitor clients’ perceptions of treatment and adherence to suggested regimens, adapting approaches to enhance engagement and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds facing a wide array of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will work with adult clients through telehealth, providing them with the flexibility needed to attend therapy sessions without geographical constraints. The understanding of diverse cultural perspectives is essential as you aim to deliver culturally congruent counseling.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in counseling or a related field is required.
• Active licensure and registration as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.
• Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services effectively.
• Fluency in multiple local languages is preferred to further enhance communication and understanding.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driven by empathy and sensitivity towards client needs, focusing on fostering healing.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a remote or telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing client data and treatment documentation.
• Strong community orientation, actively engaging in initiatives that promote mental health awareness.

Compensation and Benefits
